on holiday from work for the next 2 weeks

this morning i went to the scrappies to aquire a SI loom

not bad for a tenner

the engine bay after a quick tidy (yes, thats it tidy'd

)

FINALLY got the chance to put the first coat on the rear 1/4 and on the tailgate/taillight area

here is where the new rear 1/4 if joined to the rear of the car

me dad done pretty well there i reckon

like i say thats the 1st coat of paint so its not perfect (or finished), still need to flatten it, paint it again the laquer it for some protection

Should look alot better once the paint is buffed!

a little more progress tday, managed to get the front wings primed, its getting there, slowly, very slowly, doesnt help when u paid for items and the seller is happy to take ur money then has a habit of not answering pm's when u chase him up for the goods

went to the scrappies this morning and picked this up for a tenner

gave the engine bay a quick once over

painted the front wings (no pics

) then flattened then, unfortunately its hard to tell of any imperfections when the primers on cause of the colour so had to flatten it further back than i was hoping to, pretty sure there as good as new now though

the plan is now to get the other rear 1/4 so ma dad can get that done, then it'll be a case of getting the other parts i need...................................seems like a never ending list :cry:

went to me dads tonight to pick the dog up after work and saw this laying in the back lawn

thats the rear 1/4 that need changed, didnt get a chance to take a pick of the car with it removed as it was pissing with rain

also took receipt of these today

thats a full gasket set and cyclinder head bolts
