I do like them, they look nice and are quick! But as said, head gaskets are sh?te, i'm suprised companys don't sell fixed problem gaskets...?
Or if all else fails, v'tech the biznitch as it's basically a civic isn't it?

Pretty sure the later engines didnt have many HG issues unlike the first lot.
As it is basically a bored out 1.4 metro engine

although the k series engines arent great
i think its the water channels arent wide enough to disperse the heat efficiently so balls the head
id invest in a gauge or summat to keep an eye on things better and install an oil cooler aswel

Alternator changed- no more dry bearing hum
Sticky rear caliper changed also so I have proper acceleration now!!

Also just added a bottle of tappit cleaner to the oil and some redex stuff to the fuel to improve the way the car runs!!

I wouldn't say it's fast no- not when compared to the likes of des's pulsar or ry's teg which both left me for dust on the M1, but it does ok against "normal" cars at the traffic light grand prix etc lol..

As for the redx stuff, who knows but its worth a try at improving a car that's not previously been looked after that well !!
It's basically supposed to clean out the fueling system/ injectors etc and improve mpg !!

Haha, not yet, I'm thinking it's better where it is as the cold air feed is directly in front of it but if i removed all the piping the filter would have massive heat soak through being at the back of the bay!!

moving on from sounding like a cunt, did the rear disc get damaged from the sticky caliper?

usually theres warping involved with them kinda things

Doesn't appear to of warped it luckily, just a short streak of blue on it where it's over heated!!
