there are a few options

the is a 6 speed sequentual that is just shy of £13k. Its an upgrade for a skyline and can take circa 1000bhp .that isnt an option as 13k is toooooo much

A fixit gearkit, £2500 i think, good for 500bhp but, i have heard stories of the gears shearing the teeth despite being straight cut. so, no go with that either

Then, there is the bara gearkit. used in such cars as YUM and a few others. say they are safe at 500bhp, but yum is running more than that and its still fine ( im friends with the owners other half ). thats £3500, plus fitting, and a few other things to add to that. that is going to be the option i think. looking at circa £5k though .


Then ive got got look into the diffs as there wont be any power losses though the box like there is with the current one, so all the power will actualy make it to the diffs.

ouch sounds very pricy but i suppose thats what cossie ownership is like

cossie ownership isnt that pricey. unless your unluck and something breaks.

the tax runs out end of november, but im taking her off end of this month just to try and save abit more lol

found a bulge on the inside of the front tyre today.

had a part worn fitted as im not paying for a new one for it to just sit there for 6 months lol

the bulge was also my shaking issue and i assume what cause my strut top nut to unwind a few times

Right lets end this bloody whining over breaking it or whatever. Alex u have got a decent cossie with plenty of power and a very well built engine also u have full leather trim. so dont bicker over weight etc.. just bloody keep it and use it 450-500bhp is plenty of power for a cossie. And seeing as your running 4x4 thats alot. really u should of got rear wheel drive. U can beat most cars with it and its a cossie END OF!!!!! DO NOT BREAK IT

I have had 3 2wd before, between 270 and 375bhp and they would struggle for grip in the damp over about 350, hence why i opted for 4x4 and more power.
