This is one of the few Fiesta's I want to see on track :lol:

As it shows you what an Si can do without spending silly ammounts on a supercharger or something equally as expensive.

I work as a Maintenance Engineer for British Bakeries in Glasgow, HOVIS BREAD and such like, and Yes I work extrememly hard :lol:

OK back to Fiestas :P

This is what happens when you run out of talent at 100mph,

Did this at Knockhill a few years ago, This was the first outing in this car after I had built it, The back brake bias was a little to much and it locked the back wheels and sent the car sideways , off the track onto the grass, before hitting the gravel trap and rolling end over end ( bonnet to bootlid) at least 4 times, before going along the top of the tyre wall , and eventually landing on its roof about 50 yards from the initial accident

very high speed accident, and all done without the help of a roll cage at the time, very lucky boy and didnt recieve too many injuries ( good looks still intact :P :P :lol: ) but to say I was sore for a few days was an understatement

So i recommend not rolling your car at that sort of speed

its been a long journey really

This is the cars 4th shell, 3rd engine 5th gearbox ( i think :lol: )helll knows how many sets of wheels, brakes, tyres etc....

Since I started with the build in 2003 , I recon Ive spent over £10K , but in all honesty thats developing the car and maintenance over the years, so maybe in all honesty its a bargain, but I get so much enjoyment out of driving the car

Next Im going to do a wee interior freshen up, repaint inside the car, new seats and harnesses , steering wheel and guages

Shell 1 :-green and olympic blue, nearside chasis leg colapsed whilst cornering at speed through the Glenvarigill chicane @ Knockhill, came off the track and hit the tyre wall

Shell 2 :- Silver and blue shell, , youve seen the photos :lol: :lol:

Shell 3:- I wanted to get back on track ASAP after the big accident, so bought a car which wasnt very good, but racing again 3 weeks later after the accident, eventually was too bad to use for the track, no inner sills left and generally rotten all over

Shell 4 is the current shell, and apart from the passenger side inner sill needing a little welding, is in good condition
