Also just had some more bits arrive from Rally Design for the Fiesta , im removing the B&M quickshift as its too short a throw for my liking , and i want something a litle more positive but better than the standard linkage. My mate IMSY uses the Rally Design one, and i prefer that to the B&M , which has some wear in it anyway, im too agressive on the gear changes

Also got another take off plate for the remote filter , ordered the wrong one the last time, so sent that back and got the correct one

Ill try and get the Fiesta all finsihed for next week, as im off to the Cumbria RSOC show at Heaves hotel this weekend with the Focus

yep seen it in Performance Ford this month, we did that rolling road day last June almost a year before it went in the mag

there also a pic of the Fiesta with the new decals on in the Crail feature, shame on you Dave for missing that

some pics of the work ive been doing to the fiesta to get it all finished and ready for Angelesy

fitted longer suds to all 4 corners so i can fit hubcentric spacers to give the wheels a better offset and give clearance for the LEDA coilovers. The spacers where from a peugot conversion, so i knocked out the studs ( wrong thread pitch) and machined the spigget down to 63.1 mm ( ford fitment wheels)

Also modified them to suit the car , ive kept the back ones 20mm to give a wider track on the back making the wheels ET15 and 12mm spacers for the front, to clear the coilovers and retain the wheel inside the front arches

Also fitted new yelow stuff pads to the front, and fitted new back shoes, and bled all the brakes back up with new 5.1 brake fluid

The front wheel with longer studs 63mm with correct thread for the ford bolts 13.1mm spline M12 x 1.5mm



The hubcentric spacers, i wanted these as didnt want just normal spacers which wouldnt hold the whell centre in the spiggot



The back wheel fitted to the car now , tons of clearance and fill the arches lovely now

not long back from Angelesy , and all i can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a circuit, absolutely fantastic

car ran well all day , and was out pushing on quicker cars , and giving them hell round the challenging circuit.

I had a wee issue on the last 20 minutes of the day when the nsf wheel loosened off , and snapped 3 wheels uds, but i was alreay slowing down and about to stop when the wheel almost fell off, only 1 stud holding it on, my fault for not checking the wheel studs where tight after evry other time out, but open pit lane was great , and i was doing charity passenger runs for the last couple of hours of the day as the other cars had broken, so got a chance to scare the crap out of some unsuspecting people
