ahh...i see why thats easier...you dont have to cut the arm on the back and re weld it on!...which can give rise to problems if you get the rod too hot!

its technically a MK6 wayne..as the fittings are different on a MK5

got the 1800 zetec out of the blue scrap si now, weighs a bloody tonne!!

so i can start potching with that soon.

also removed the rs pop outs and clifford alarm from it to go into this one.

gona start taking the coilovers , brakes and poly bushes off the aubergine one this week now, if the weather is ok,

then get cracking with this project, i wana get the majority of the bits i have here on it as soon as possible now.

needs new leads at least or a coilpack as it had a slight misfire

it will have a good service before it goes in, give it some paint aswel.

so far got
2.0 cams
rs1800 ecu and superchip
K&n
Magnex exhaust and de-cat for it.

so hopefully its got somewhere between 120-130bhp there.

need HO inlet now.

i been thinking now how much will it weigh when its done, all stripped out.

when i weighed the scrapper in earlier it was 730kgs.

if its 800 with £130bhp it will be pretty quick i would have thought
