bit of a bad day for cars i found, my car is off the road for the night, my bros car kept dieing due to bad battery connections, my mates car had a blow out and left him stranded for 4 hours and my old mans capri has had starting issues

anyway
mirrors!
heres the wires for the mirror, tucked under the roof lining and pulled through the light hole

done and in action
normal mirror mode

slightly dim (garage lights, finger over daylight sensor)

dimmer mode

tints in a nice green colour, which works well with the fiesta's green tint tindows
and back to normal

sits well, sleek and slender, its wider than the standard mirror too, so i can have a wider view

gromert come in handy, much tidier than wires everywhere

fitted my new genuine washer to replace the failed attempt of a focus jet

ideally need another now as my passengers is a faded grey colour

in other news, i finally had enough today (again

) and stripped the inlet off to check for leaks, to change the air intake temp sensor as i have heard many accounts of them causing havok when they breakdown

i then noticed that my injector rail at least is a 1.6 item.... which begs to question are the injectors 1.6 items too?!

if thesy are it would not only account to poor performance, but also a missmatch in the ecu and injectors, which would likely make a bad running cycle, or perhaps result in my bad idle on tick over
at the very least this 1.6 item is going to massively restrict the engine, literally strangling it, i will get a bette rpic tomorrow
but the ports are tiny compared to the RS1800 H.O inlet, making the H.O struggle

small walk around

my dog proof carpet

massive thanks to dan (danPsi) for coming to deliver the Xr2i sandwich plate/injectors on such short notice, id have hated to rebuild the inlet only to rip it apart again a few days later once id bought the new injectors, ill get that fitted tomorrow, then over to ford to collect my new interior panel, been in fords about 5 times this week now lol, mirror sticky pads, panel and the washer jet...
