yea checked earlier theyre uniroyal rain experts

pelted it round a wide but small round about earlier when it was quiet, they grip very well and it was quite damp


ill get some satin black wednesday and do them, theyre chrome though which i liked, but if theyre going silver soon i dont care, and ill probs get some ST170 caps

do you see the difference good tyres makes to handling now?

makes the biggest difference ever to the way a car corners.

st170 caps wont fit that type zs wheels will they?

they only fit the type with the big centre caps.

these aint original mind, these are chrome ones of something like a zetec

looking back at the pics the st170 ones might fit but i not 100% sure to be honest..

Decent tyres are the single most important thing on a car if you as me, interesting with the centre caps will be good to see what happens there.

i can get more off a mate who buys and sells wheels from breakers yards, he gets unlucky with some and just weights them in but keeps caps, so he has a massive collection of them lol, but he likes his Wonga so dunno if he will just give them lol

mind saying this i might just spray them wednesday, should only take me about 2 -3 days, not too baothered with a brilliant job as i know they will just chip easy unless you powdercoat them, these are already chiped like mad

i prefer zs wheels with the smaller caps.

Those ook like phase 1s as there is a big gap where a centre cap should go but theyve had the little ones put in, ST170 caps should fit.

look good. if they are chipped repaint them or get them powdercoated.

There phase 2's and ST170 caps won't fit.

As for painting them yourself just give them a good few coats of laquer.

ha nope you can, i dont mind it like this, very different to what im used to

i may actually leave it like it for a bit see how i feel, i usually regret it when i rush certain things


if they stay this colour they will need another coat or two

but will laquering them make them practicly a gloss black (theyre satin now)

Wheels look good, always liked the phase 2's.

Reading back... talk about the turbo cross over pipes... Terry's si proved that using one of them made the car lose power.
