the bottom end with standard top end and bike carbs done 203 bhp before, its now got the head and cams with 45s so hopefully around abouts the 220bhp mark id be happy with that, but ill wait and see what happens

car will rev to 7800 rpm for safety with the shift light output set to 7700 rpm, and ignition map set on the rollers at SITECH RACING, booked in for Tuesday

Once again guys , tahnks fro all the nice comments , much appreciated

It's a great build and should be a good sound engine, be interesting to see what it pushes out. It will definitely supprise a few people on track

never made it to the tuners , had some issues with the car starting...... it wouldnt :D

the starter just wouldnt turn the car over, even with a heavy duty 600 Amp cranking current battery, so had to fit a high torque 1.4 kw starter and its now perfect, but had to modify the sump and the exhaust manifold to clear the starter

cars now all ready to go, its now booked in for friday for the rollers , and on track at Knockhill Sunday

car was up at SITECH RACING today to get the management tweeked and the car on the rollers

We had some issues with the communication between the software and ECU, so couldnt do the work, i wanted to raise the rev limiter , and maybe adjust the ignition advance, but in truth it dont need it

Got the car on the rollers , and after warming it up, and doing a couple of small runs, Simon then went for a power run, but the sandwich plate for the take off for the remote filter, split in half, dumping all the oil over the floor and the new rollers, sorry Simon, Thankfully Simon managed to shut the car down in time , so no damage done by the looks of it

He did however managed to get a At The Wheels (ATW ) figure for the car on the rollers before it went wrong, and it hit 178 bhp ATW at 7000 rpm, car will rev to 7300 rpm as per the limiter on the car management

so car is well over 200 bhp, and should be about 220 bhp at the flywheel when it does go flat out, and if WEBCON can increase the rev limiter to 7800 it could be quite a bit more, just need to replace the broken parts, and try again

The cars sounding absolutely mighty , and the noise the car was making on the rollers was crazy, Ive taken some pics and video footage , ill need to upload it later

pretty pleased with it Ben, just a pity it didnt hold together to get the thing totally dialed in, but id rather it happened today, than Sunday at Knockhill where i would have probably destroyed the engine, so for me it was a blessing what happened today

I have ordered the new parts , but cant be posted until Sunday, so ill try and steal, ooops sorry,,,, borrow my mates sandwich plate , and if not ill by-pass the oil cooler and remote filter and fit an oil filter instaed to get it on track for Sunday, ill need to give it a good clean as its covered in oil :P

Ben a remote filter is a filter that is mounted off the engine, and in my case its mounted on the inner wing , the advantage is that it allows me to fit the oil filter away from the back of the engine, which is pretty close to the chassis leg

sandwich plate ids fitted where normally the oil filter is fitted, and allows me to fit a oil coller to the car, via the remote filter

the remote filter is mounted on the left hand side of the pic, and the pipework that feeds it goes from the sandwich plate , and to the oil cooler and back to the sandwich plate, its a closed loop system
