So we have established that my 0-60 time in about 7.something seconds is probably somewhat legit because Waynes 2.0 fiesta with a 4-2-1 manifold did a 7.2... Seems that all this wasn't needed at all. Glad we came to that conclusion :thumbsup:

nah id say its around 7.9-8.2, as thats pretty much book figure and what most get with a 130bhp in a mk3 (book being RS1800)

i dont know why mine was a bit slower, i was disappointed

but yet again book figures and actually getting the time yourself in the car seem very different, take nick on FT for instance, his fiesta ST only managed 8.6s to 60 at ford fair, his book figure is 7.9

moral here to me is, what you expect and what you get is very different, every car is different and even with the same power things turn out differently

now i dont know maybe just me and nick are shit at 60 sprints, give either car to you, Ry, daveg or the stig, each could do better or worse

( i even tried the "let air out your tyre" trick for my 3rd run, and it was a 8.65...)

Same old jony same old shit, Jony you have to bear in mind you were on Gotboost rollers which are notorious round here for a over reading as im dubious about my 109bhp when my car is 100 standard.

Plus danny was on a Dyno Dynamics rollers which are the best without doubt.

Anyway onto your intake, i would of thought just a basic route using tubing would be the best, but try minimise on the silicone as it could cause the same problem.

Wow, this thread turned into a "fart in a library"

I found with my gtis on the speedo was pretty accurate on gps so id say your figure is as close as anyone can get without the propper gear, does go well.

Look forward to seeing the difference in just swapping the intake, if it does give more bhp then t realy is worth every to note looking in that area over just a bigger filter. The joy of having a rolling road at your finger tips lol.

BUT on the points of 0-60 with you and jony ... my st170 does 0-60 in 3.4secs due to a panel filter and catback with so lets just settle this with mines fastest :halo:

i timed the ignis with an app, done it in 5.3!! its insane, i cant hold on to it! so much power!! lol it spins through every single gear even in reverse!! what an animal!

I can do 145 in reverse in mine, and that was when the engine was out too.. Must be true as I had it RR'd and dodgy Dave said it was 231bhp
