You'd be surprised actually. Standard air box setups can produce more power and more torque than aftermarket setups on NA engines funnily enough. But the thing is, the difference might only be 1 or 2 bhp, so you won't even notice it. Responsiveness of the engine might increase a little, and that will make your mind think it's got more power. The ONLY way you can test if it has power gains is on a dyno.

There are many videos on youtube about cold air feeds, induction setups ect ect and testing them on both NA and turbo engines to see what the gains/losses are if you get bored and want to watch some. Of course, all cars react differently to certain mods, and climate can also effect how well they work too. But as said, dyno'd are the only way you can really see if they make a difference.

My 172 will probably be running 1-2bhp less., They actually did test loads of air filters and shows the results, standard was one of the best.

right update had more leaks from sunroof so sorted it once and for all now ha ha and also had a really small amount of seepage from the rubber gromit in the bulk head with all the wires comeing through so sorted that. also changed the coolent and flushed the system as the heater was starting to block again....

right and now to do a little work on the roof liner if i don't mess it up!

anyone else have snow today? typical so didn't have work so i did some work on the fiesta. adjusted the aux belts and sencers up a bit. bit cold though ha ha

right boring update; altered the sunroof pipes now so goes straight out the bottomof the car and seeing the roof lineing is now dead please keep a eye out for me!!! ta

also going to do a little upholstering... not the seats... will be a laugh how this turns out....

well i actually got myself a digital camera in the sale so all is good nice nikon! anyhow got bored so took a couple of picures. will get some nice pictures in good locations now i have a decient camera now!

Only a couple of things I would personally do.

1) Space out the front and rear bumper so they line up with the arch kit.
2) Remove the tyre paint

Other than that it looks alright!
