yea i try and make the rs stand out as it being forgot about due to the rs turbo so no1 remembers the 1800

so at the moment i am in love with the focus 1s

finally got my alarm sorted out and took car for test spin and scrubs out on nearly every bump tyres even scrubs on arches when turning and i had this suspension on my old car with 16" and didnt feel as bad as what it does now but only took it for quick thrash and has made me think to put it back to standard or raising it abit to a 30mm drop or lower profile 14"s any suggestions will have a look in the light 2morrow but by looking at it it does look low and it only on 14"s but other car was fine

and tyre profiles 195 40 16 with 5mm spacers and 195 55 14 with no spacers could be 50 on 14"s but check when kids in bed

help

get some coilovers and lower it more to make the scrubbing worth it!

£300 everything done sounds good to me. thats seems a reasonable price. The £325 is not only hassle on getting paint, but an expensive cost! You don't really need to blend in the wings as there a single panel themselves!

looking great mate, that looks like caymen blue to me, its a rather greeny blue

the wheels do look a bit small so the RS2000 versions would suit it down to the ground, its a popular swap on these

if i were to have a RS18 it look liek this, its like the RS version of my Si actually lol


where'd you get the wind deflectors from? ford parts online?

Fordpartsuk do the climair ones, thats where I got mine from

mine are the heko 1s and fit lovely i got them from ebay they was only £30 quid

got a quote for front end to be sprayed and they said they got a machine for scanning paint colours so hopefully they can let me no then i can just buy some spare so when i come to doing the under bonnet things i will have the paint ready for it

You will have to let me know full cost when you get your bits sprayed up as I need my rst bonnet and bumper spraying, possibly my boot as well as theres a touch of rust on it.

Wind deflectors look great.

I've got a soft spot for the later RS1800s. If it wasn't for a 2.0 Si coming up I think I might of gone with one of these if nothing else it's got RS on it
