I agree with the whole si thing, as they dont wear the "RS" badge or have any kind of classic status atm they are seen as bangers even though they are really good cars.

Out of the three I thought it made the most sense, in terms of investment if nothing else as the mk1 and the RS are now creeping up in value but the si will probs remain at the same value for a good few years yet.

Also, I originally built the car and spent all that time, effort and money to enjoy it so why not do so?!

At the end of the day its not like it will be a big pile of rust by next spring

Oh and Adam, you know you need a mk3 so just do it

Stick with the ST tbh mate, better for you as a daily atm, get a FRST in the future as a toy

Right then, update time!

Done loads on her since the last update. Firstly, got the tailgate sprayed and fitted, looks soooooooooo much better now! Correct ford badge on correct side too!

Just need a fiesta badge now but thinking of leaving it off for the sleeper effect?

Also changed the hoses (as they were the originals ), as well as the water pump, thermostat, rad cap, flushed the coolant system out and filled it with proper coolant rather than rusty coloured water

She's running beautiful!

Now im back at uni as of today I put her into hibernation yesterday, so she is tucked up out of the salt and ice until next spring now

Anyway, here's the pics:

engine wise, i think you should dump a 2.0l zetec in there on carbs
