Well its been a while since i done anything to the fez, have been enjoying it and not really needed to do anything to it.

So browsing ebay a few moths ago i found a motorsport prep'd shell and it was about 30 miles from me so jumped in the car and went and had a butchers, the shell was bulit about 10 years ago and painted 5 years ago and has sat in a garage since. A deal was done for £750 and i went and collected it a few days later. Its just been in the garage since while i decided what i wanted to do with it.

Ive also been gathering parts for it and have the following to make it handle and go a little better

New wilwood 4 pots and 285mm brakes
Poly bushed suspension with lower arm bearings instead of bushed
New Spax coilovers with remote dampers as used in fiesta challange
Zetec s polybushed rear beam
Brand new focus rear disc conversion with new hubs and bearings etc
New stage2 CTS box with quaffe diff
Newman PH3 cams and verniers
Omex 200 management
New 2.5" stainless system

Some pics i took this evening while i removed the old rear beam and tank and painted the arches black, will do the floor soon as i dont like it white with my plans for the suspension

Got to see some of this while i was round before

Good to hear the plans mate, she will be sweet when built, my car should be back on the road tomorrow if things go well, so will have transport to get the parcel shelf

Look forward to some progress

Cheers guys, Will hopefully get the floor painted and dried by the weekend then get all the new powdercoated suspension bits on so i can get it back on the floor and on its wheels. Will update at the weekend hopefully.
