my Dad and I have had a busy few days all the paint work has been repaired after a brake fluid leak from the servo and my manifold has been finished, throttle bodies painted up and all the parts to turn the engine over have arrived i am just short of two hose connectors which I should be able to pick up local and hopefully get the engine running monday evening

Tomorrows job is to re bleed the brakes and fit the inlet and ITB's and finish the wiring in the engine bay and fit the last few hoses

just a few pictures



brakes rebuilt with new seals and a fresh coat of paint



new positive battery terminal to allow the amp to be wired in etc....



throttle bodies painted up and inside polished







another set of gsxr throttle bodies, purchased for the injectors 270cc and the loom plugs and a new TPS



throttle bodies put together with custom fuel rail and throttle cable bracket to fit the standard ka throttle cable



new custom made inlet manifold (aluminium) to allow the throttle bodies to fit in the engine bay



back of the manifold showing the vac line for the crank case breather (in line filter will be used) paint will be removed before fitting

Little bit of progress..... lol




ignore the oily finger marks on the slam panel lol


got all the fluids in coolant (just water at the mo), ps fluid etc.....

got all the battery connected and the modified injector loom for the bike injectors and TPS, also got the filter plate modified, two boss' welded on for the rocker cover breather and AIT sensor, needs to be painted black thjo dont like the bare ally look.

Also made a bracket for the fuel pressure reg bloody nightmare, such a complex bracket

all fuel lines in just need to check the oil and lower the car to the floor and start it up wish me luck

would have started it tonight but omex have sent me the wrong base map :crying: (not that I am complaining they have been VERY helpful )

Thanks Matt there a few things that need tidying up, touching up of a few bolt heads etc... within the engine bay but nothing to worry about

oh and another thing IT STARTS AND RUNS

not bad considering its been stood for 3 months and that was it second start up since then, oh and the battery was a little flat

its been a great day today, it started and got to operating temperature with no leaks of any kind had it idling for a good half hour

also the PCB designed and bulit by Grandad to control the in car heater as this was controlled by the standard ecu, so thats all ready to be fitted

Oh and my heated/electric mirrors and switch arrived today
