i bought some XR2i 16v door cards to sort of match the FRST seats. bought them about 2-3 weeks ago off a member on ft.com, just couldnt be arsed to take pictures of them. they are in top condition as are the seats.

with out closely looking you cant tell that they are different, and only if you know what your talking about then you can tell.



comparison of the two different trims. the xr2i stounds out slightly more than the FRST




thats the interior sorted now. still not sure about the rears. i like them because they are different, but they may be coming out when ive sold some bits, so i have some more space in the garage.

omg you don't want to lower it too much otherwise the handling becomes rubbish 60mm just too much 40mm most ill ever lower owt

bought some coilovers off a member on here last friday. been putting it off for a few months buying some form of setup. after going to last weeks south east ft meet, got the bug for it again. thanks to Mike as well for posting the link

they are brand new. the previous owner bought them and fitted to his track car.they were on there for 2 weeks while the car sat on his drive, said he moved it up and down the drive once and thats it. so got a bargain really




hope to get them fitted this week some time

i plan to fit them my self. my friend says that i should go to a modded garage place to get the tracking done properly on a 4 wheels tracking system or something. you think i should ask the garage to set the coilies up properly as well.

how much would i be looking at?

As Paul said, fit them yourself and count the number of individual threads up to the adjuster, that way you know it will be perfect and not just estimated like some places would do it

And yea, before and after pics, plus before and after driving comparison.

Well AVO coilovers made my car handle awesome. Slammed around 80mm on rear, 60mm on front. No scrubbing. No rolling about. Just pure awesome.

So I guess these coilovers will be better!

Finally got them fitted after a load of set backs

i fitted the rears on tuesday, but couldnt get the front springs out, so it when to local Motorsport garage to be fitted and get the ride height set up and tracked.

before they were fitted i use to be able to fit my whole fist in the top of the front arch, now i can't fit two fingers in the gap.
