Teeny update, At the garage where WGS was broken there was a set of "spare" wheels piled in the corner...

Have done a quick Photoshop with these on (and a bit lower :look: )

Quality isnt great but you get the idea.

Have a nice collection of bits waiting to go on the car but am waiting for a replacement PAS pipe to come through the post "just send me the money its packed and ready to go" well it was 2 weeks ago...

Meanwhile im going to raid halfords for a tin of red hammerite and some petrol blue touch up paint. Hammerite for my ST calipers and touchup pen for the key marks down each side :x Also have a set of -40mm springs waiting to go on and of course the 2nd ARB and braided hoses.

Any comments welcome as always :)

They look compomotive style and look like they have Gravel tyres on them? What size are they and what they off? :)

They look quite good on yours! :chill:

Cheers for the feedback guys :) im not sure what make they are but they were used for grass tracking, on a pug 206 i think. Theyre 15s but i dont know what the offset is. i know a fez is 38 but am i more likely to get a higher number to fit or a lower number? i.e. whats the range of offsets i can reasonably fit?

Right update time, unfortunately pics to follow later this evening,

Over the last couple of days ive fitted my 278mm ST brakes with goodridge hoses on the front, Lowered it 40mm and Fitted and 2nd rear anti roll bar :)

ST brakes were straightforward to fit, is a perfect straight swap.

2nd ARB is a bit of a pain in the arris as obviously having two mounting brackets (1 from each arb) makes it harder to fit the 2nd arb in the gap. I used a 15mm and a 13mm socket, A breakers bar, a ratchet, loads of WD40, a very important hammer and a trolley jack :)

You will need longer bolts as even though i had longer bolts they were still a pain to fit. I cant tell you what bolts i did use exactly, but they have the same thread pattern but were about 5-10mm longer. I think 10-15mm would be easier.

Hopefully ill be getting a 2.0 fitted in august September time, mebe in time for FF, Fingers Crossed.

Oh and im planning on refurbing the wheels black and adding some stripes as below :D

See, that wasnt how I envisaged the twin ARB trick to be done, I would of thought that the one you added on would of been spun 180 degress round. So imagine just pulling it out the brackets and flipping 180 degrees.
But hey, if it works it works.

Looks good anyway, brake set up is looking sweet :)

Back end is well stiff :) however as i lowered it at the same time i couldnt tell you how much difference the 2nd arb made exactly.
