It's an Ashley cat back 3" with a home made de-cat

The video doesn't really pick up the burble on lift off but I'll see if I can get a better one soon

you take the down pipe off the manifold then off the other end aswel (after the cat) and whack a bar in there till all the crap falls out
when you put it bk on make sure you only attach it to the manifold then run it and rev it hard to get any other crap out of it before you fix it bk ono the exhaust
dont want any loose particles flyin down ur exhaust and buggerin it up
although you may fail emisions it mite be best to get a second hand one and jus swap em over come mot time
i think martin89 has it on his and his zorst was makin some lovely noise at the last north meet

You are pretty much correct. It's a cat back mild steel system but the DIY de-cat is just a straight bit of pipe. Some people knock the stuff out the inside of the cat so the MOT tester doesn't know the difference. But as I work in a garage my MOTs will always pass

I guess knocking the inside out could be done with a screwdriver and hammer. Never done it myself though

Rob I got my de-cat of onslack but it should be quite easy to make your own from a bit of pipe and fabricate the brackets?

well all im going to say on the 205 is.. was stripped to bare shell and everything replaced including engine. it now pulls like a train and handles like its on rails !!! no lie it has almost zero body roll ! got group A rear beam mounts wich are solid plastic for the top of the damper mounts and METAL mounts at the rear !! fully pollybushed everywhere else plus group N top mounts at the front and -40mm suspension kit FTW !! its a non sunroof model too so rare as rocking horse shit and to top it off... the bangs and flames off the rev limiter have scared more than a few people and also almost caused me to become samantha all in all a lot of hard work and hours went into it and its now so worth it .... and as for adams gleaming engine im pretty chuffed with how well it came up with just a tesco value scrubber thing and elbow grease

We should get Phil to pop along to the next southern meet sam

erm whenever i have some free time which i rare

maybe have them done by saturday

got bored today so popped out for a drive, weather conditions were crap but im suprised how well the toyos handle in the wet, wasnt driving like a tit but they do fill you with confidence

took a few pics from the local view point but the cloud was fairly low so you couldnt really see much

also took a picture of my latest installment......Bruce my brother gave it to me ages ago and all the little corsas around my way have boxing gloves etc so i thought i can be just as cool as them and fitted Bruce
