gettign used to it now, it isnt too bad low down, tons of torque as usual, but then the power really kciks in about 4k and keeps on till gone 6k

its very drivable and smooth

wheels are off, 16v ones back on :)
so much better the drive is so smooth now, these wheels are perfect for it, i dunno why i change them for others, all for the "looks"...

The people who have been in my car know exactly what I mean, I does kick like a vtec.

As said it will be learning how to dive to keep it in the rev range, can make you more vunerable at times as I have found, out of the rev range many cars could have me as Dave found in his Si (1.6).

Alrite mate, noticed your gonna be fitting the puma linkage, im pretty sure these are the same as mk5 zs but not 100% on that, anyway, dont waste your time fitting it if uour still using the bc box as you will be very dissapointed, crunches way too much going into 3rd and 4th fast, better option is the lesser model mk5 linkages.

Cars looking spot on btw!

ugh you guys have ruined my tomorrow morning haha

was gonna do it then,
i have heard, but i didn't think it was that bad, people have fitted a B&M and said similar

i could trade it in for as ormal mk4/5 one i guess, even theyre an improvement, less wobble and 20% less throw, i beleive the ZS ones are 50% les and the 1.7 puma one is 60% or so less throw!

omg, i had such an exhilarating play on the way home today!

2 cars were giving it the beans behind me, and i could see they were modified, a mk5 '06 Volkswagen Golf GT TDI which had remapping specialist decals all the over the back and lowered in black, the other was a mazda 323f 2.0 sport and that was low as heck

the mazda must have been tuned as after reading a review theyre quite slow standard,

at the lights then we all bombed it but niether were getting away, the 323 was in front and he could get away from me and the golf behind me was not able to pass, ooof such fun :D they both give me that hazards flash after we caught up with the traffic and a thumbs up haha

Here we go again jony, a mapped GTTDi wasnt getting away i seriously dis believe that.

and plus you do know the 2.0 GT TDi has 167bhp and 258ft/lb!
And if it was mapped it most probably pushing the 180/190bhp mark and around 300ft/lb!

here we go again?

it aint me making it out to seem impossible mate, you are

and i never said it was remapped, just it had Tuningfactory.co.uk all over it

and it didnt actually say it was a GT TDI, but its the only one that suits the profile, unless it was a mapped something lesser
a GT TDI does 60 in 8.2, thats very much within reach of me

look i dont care if you believe it or not, fact is it happened, i was there you sir were not, only thing thats questionable is which model of golf it was, as there were no badges just that GTi look about it
