They "feel" quicker with a 16v in. Of course they are quicker, but you just don't need to work them as hard IMO, though saying that, an engines and engine, and if it's either 8v or 16v it'll hit the limiter regardless

Do it Matt, you can't get better for less, and mega cheap to fix as you know

Its Supercharged Not Turbo Charged Ry , Tis quick, but there's just to many little things about it i don't like.

Here i go again!

Well been off work this week (On Garden Leave as starting a new job) and been working on the Rallye, Stripped all the standard Trim and Interior i'd Put back in and removed anything that i deemed not needed



Even removed one of the rear boot raisers, took both the bonnet ones off and put the Boot one in there instead as its smaller (Therefor lighter)

I removed, all the sound deadening, Carpet, plastic trim, Heater and ducting.



Dash was removed to be Lightened and flocked (in this picture the Ash tray and its holders been removed)



I then started to attack the Loom with help from a Friend

Before we started



Nick removing the clifford alarm.



Me after Crapping myself after thinking i'd cut the Fuel pump live!



The loom after (still needs tidying with tape etc)



The amount of redundant wires removed (Can for size comparison)



And the clifford Alarm ( a good 5-7kg on its own )



I also started to Stonechip the arches



As it currently stands





Next step Removing the Sound deadening Tar and bit more chopping with the angle grinder!

And Ry I'll sort a list this week, wont include the Engine spec as i'm not 100% sure on what i'm going to do with it, but it will be a closely guarded secret when i do decide after all, there needs to be a air of mystery about projects to keep people on their toes!
