the fan plug should be round about where the air box was, but near the slam panel. iirc the wiring comes from the drivers side

dave: yeah it is so much nicer having a new clutch, need to get used to it not slipping and it bites so quickly!

adam: thanks, yeah we will see ;) 1st gear is very short, about 25mph but picks up very quickly! i havnt really given it a thrash as i need to bed the clutch in and run the gearbox in! :lolz: bits falling off will be weight reduction :P

terry: thanks! i have had a look around everywhere at the front of the engine, as it used to sit just above the front gearbox mount, but it's not their now :? i think when i moved all the wireing to give me a nice clear space to remove the gearbox i must have either moved it around the back of the engine or by the washer bottle but still can't seem to see it :lol: i may pop over to yours at some point!

Oh and forgot to add, i now have terry's headlights on my car so no more broken one's :thumbsup: thanks again terry for them :)

and i was getting bored of just a silver engine so i have sprayed the rocker cover mercury grey and also the cross over but that is comming off as im making a new air intake system for it :thumbsup: need to paint the rusty water rail black and pain the manifold heat shield back silver

Thanks for the comments everyone! I have now got full time work so my plans i had lined up for the car may be going ahead :thumbsup:

Yeah the box is great but was pricey! but at least i no its good for the lifetime of the car :D

Thanks, it was in serious need of a clean that night lol hadn't been washed in over a week! Yeah she goes well, i wouldn't expect yours to be a 1.25 tbh, goes bloody well for one!

managed to paint the lil bits on the engine black, just need to do the p/s pipe that runs across to to of the engine black or grey. Also got afew pics of the car in the sun :)

went to asda to grab some food for work and saw you parked up mate. looks really clean and made me really think about finaly getting mine lowered with and xr2i/rs kit on it.

bloody hell, that engines only done 60k 65k max :shock: how has the head gasket gone. i have a head gasket in the garage if he wants it.

good it has new shocks :thumbsup:
