Wow im knackered but another update for you all today, with the lovely weather and time off a perfect opportunity to work on the car

The car came back from the bodyshop, perhaps a bit quicker than I thought but nevertheless much better than what it was before! So i'm cleaning it much better from now on

Today I cleaned the car, and dried her off, then went about claying the car to get the finish nice and smooth and clean, then got out my new stripes from DMB
Now I will admit one went on a bit wrong so I may need to redo it in future but its not diabolical for now, Emma thankfully gave me help and we got the second one on much better

She also got stuck in with the splitter, thankfully with my mothers drive and some decent tools we didn't need to jack the car up to do it either which was ace, and it improves the look of the front of the car so much, looks meaner and like it should of had one in the first place, protects my front bumper too

Also some helmet scratched my front numberplate so put my new one on today

Finally rest of car was clayed, then Polished, then waxed and sealed and she is all shiny

Its getting there slowly but that's always the way with cars isn't it, specially when you have a life outside and a house etc

Meilack screw you emma was here helping with the stripes and offered to go at the splitter as i had already got fitting and made holes!

Done a bit more cleaning today and got rid of the fly eyes on the back as they were annoying me!

Add the bodyshop didnt put the bonnet release back together properly is a tad annoying, oh well will have to find a way round that i suppose

Is it just not aligned properly? Might just need a loosen, adjust and tighten back up.

Looks like they did a good job, good to see a car properly cleaned they strips go well as well!

Cheers people, The bonnet release was slightly snapped on the collar as i find yesterday but butted the grill and lock up better and it work or there abouts, just got to remember to be careful with it, if it happens again will have to get boned for £60 i think for a new one

The swivel badge on the front was reassembled incorrectly, bloody northern monkeys!

THe front was indeed finished off nicely with that splitter, but i dont think i want a diffuser to go on the back, its an ST afterall dont feel it would do the back end right

As said looks great at the front and finishes things off nicely, but agree with you don't do the rear diffuser
