i think the gas shocks help a far bit, not to mention the ARB's

anyway got the timing spot on, made my own cam tool and its very snug in the cams so i got them bang on

drives perfectly, got one lap of the village then it run out of petrol lmao

and its insurance has run out so its staying put for now, insurance apon pay on the 25th

so a few more upgrades to come in the meantime :)

rear tints
big servo
puma linkage
might even add another rear arb if i find my other clamps

my 8v si has got a puny 16mm arb on the front. with polybushes, and it was lower on spax springs with falken tyres and i thought it handles awesome at the time. it wasnt quite as stable on the road as my newer arosa sport or ignis sport but you could really throw it into corners at speed and the steering was much sharper than any of my other cars. i loved it. and it will be bak soon :insanity:

the second one however had avo coilys, polybushes all round lower 's' brace upper strut brace, rose jointed wishbones but cheap tyres let it all down, proves theres no point wasting all that money unless you got something good between you and the road, i should know, i fit em everyday. the coilovers wernt set up properly either though..

i have to admit i didnt notice the lower brace do anything, but i did fit it with the coilovers all at once.. its painted red now anyway so that itself will make it better :P

im hoping my fiesta will handle superbly one its all done.
the spec will be:
Avo coilovers
Fully polybushed
upper strut brace
lower s brace
rear strut brace
double arb on the back
ST24 Front brakes with goodridge hoses and i will upgrade the pads and discs sometime as well
rs2000 rear disc conversion and i will upgrade the hoses pads and maybe discs.
rs200 mk6 wheels with toyo t1rs or maybe r888s all round.
i want to get a s2 erst lsd as well, i just need to find one...

all strupped out as well with a cage and some lightweight buckets

Would the mk4 brace fit the mk3? because they have different turrets dont they. I have a spare mk3 omp strut brace sutting in my garage, but one of the tabs have broken off it lol.

Strut braces make a big difference, you'd be surprised how well they work. Plus if you have a polybushed car then it works even better, and when you whack coilovers on it, oooooo its like a dream, decent tyres and you have a good combination to fly round corners at silly speeds lol.

As for the 2nd rear arb, i might be doing this today so if i do, ill let you know how it is afterwards

I don't know its it the case with kent, but with my pipers I set them up like that and then had to do further adjustments (as per instructions).

Good work.

Good job the cams don't need more timing was a pain for me, thought it was worth mentioning.

I will say I am impressed with your problem solving at times, you clearly have the tools and skills to make things fit, I just hit things with a hammer and hope.
