heres some pictures of the new engine, its a ST170 enegine again, with forged pistons high compression, steel rods, hardened and balanced crank, balanced flywheel and clutch cover plate, CRYOGENIC frozen oil pump gears

The head is the one I will fit onto this engine will be the one with the modifications to remove the V V T cams and pulley, and will now be fitted with Newman PH4 cams , vernier pulleys, ST170 valve springs with shimming fitted and solid lifters

done quite a bit of the welding that the shel was requiring, boot floor all repaired, and inner sill done, just a little bit to finish on the drivers side now, but getting there

Thanks guys

ive finished the welding inside the car now, hopefully going to the painters this week, if the snow lets up alittle

Going to rebuild the gearbox on Friday, and start rebuilding the head, fitting the valves and lapping them in, ill get some pics up as i progres

shell is going this week to get painted, cars going Polaris grey inside and under the bonnet

also been buying some more bits and pieces, ill need to get some pics up over the next couple of days

ben a busy few days of late , so hopefully get some time to get on with the car, the weather up here has been nuts, so back on track this week

Ive let it slip a little lately been occupied by other things im afraid,, but thats things now sorted so time to crack on

As for money , yes ive been growing a money tree out the back of the house , but its nearly stripped, :lol: :lol: , I love my cars and most if not all my expendable income goes into the cars, and i dont have any kids to drian my cash,

Resigned from my job yesterday , and now working my notice, and start my new job in the new year, which doesnt involve working weekends, so happy with that, very stressful making the mental leap to leave my old job, but all done now

Also had some dumpling crash into my Mondeo ST, and I had to abonden the car and walk 5 miles home last Monday nite after 12 inches of snow fell in 2 hours in Glasgow area, absolute mayhem up here for a week
