And I agree, you could have a nice business there sorting out the undersides of cars! The amount of people on car forums who want theirs nice, clean, rust free etc, but don't have the time, tools or effort is staggering. It could be the new big thing

i would pay you to sort my cars underside out because since moving house ive no where to really do work on my car.
its a good idea and worth considering, even as a sideline.

i'm sure dave would charge dependant on how extreme you wanted it done

Slight update.

My RS has got a new handbrake cable on it but its a pattern part rather than genuine ford and basically, the adjuster sometimes slips along the cable if you yank the handbrake up. This makes the handbrake basically useless lol so I had put some cable ties behind the adjuster to prevent it slipping but obviously this isnt ideal

Genuine ford ones cost like £70 at ford which is just silly so that wasnt an option but I managed to win one on ebay the other day for a grand total of £6.50! Am well happy!

So I will be fitting this before she goes back on the road next year and all will be good!
