Ha ha! dont get worried lad, its all fun and games. Talking of mot mines going in for it in 2 week lol everything is done apart from the lamba, its knackered. might clean the MAF out too. WD40 TIME!

Lucky they let you off with the tyres, some get proper anal about it.

Simple fixes.. new set of tyres and some shockers, so might as well upgrade

yea a boy i know sed he done that 2 his RS1800 years ago. wen like a rocket then he sed!

i duno wa 2 do. i mite just smash the cat out 4 now nd hope i like the noise lol

any1 elses experience with this wud be good thou!

my mate has a magnex de-cat pipe off a 106 which i measured b4 and its the right length i fink, but the ends are different i fink. so dunno if tha wud work.

Any exhaust pipe as long as its right diameter or near enough will be able to be modded to fit

I don't agree with the comment on making an rs1800 go like a rocket with a decat...

You may lose lower down torque with a decat but can free up a tiny bit of power top end wise.

Remove cat, fit a pipe. will probs make it sound meatier

Not the hardest of jobs, or the end of the world if you have to change back

yea cud do im thinking of getting an xr2i inlet aswell soon!

i had a quote from pro-speed exhausts in cardiff the other day 4 an S/s mid section which was 70 quid and a de-cat 4 89 quid!

Speak to Will121 on here, he decatted his 2litre si and although the BHP went up the torque went down, and on track I don't think it made it any quicker
