Small update

Terry came around Sunday morning to helpme get started on the saph, but thins didnt quite go acording to plan

We ended up taking more bits off, rad, intercooler, inlet and heaterbox..... some of which needed to come off anyway, but this is where things started to go pear shaped....

My genuine RS500 intercooler is twisted,
My rad, intercooler and fans sit 1/2" closer to my engine than a 2wd, which is where my pulley rubbing hose is being a problem.
We cant get my crank pulley nut undone so i can change the cambelt and tensioner.


So all in all,

more bits came off
problems were found
nothing went on......


I can see where this is heading again

parts fitting = fail

steve mentioned about a row of bolt holes to mount the IC and Rad, was the IC mounted on the furthest holes?

we took steps backwards, but all those bits needed to be removed anyways , now the real fun begins

where do i start?!

well apart from alex staring and wonder how i got such beautifully shaped butt cheeks we got the following done on the weekend:-

on sat we started removing sound deadening, then got half the inlet on

sunday i was down bright and early and we worked all day and we got...............the rest of the inlet on, fuel rail on, injectors in, 2 pipes to the oil cooler connected, alternator on, exhaust half off then realised 4x4 are shit and alex should of got a 2wd , so i think the angle grinder will be making an appearance

more soun deadening removed, must of removed close too 8kg's worth of the stuff now, with the boot still left to do , dash was removed and some wire was cut

i got in mine then drove home
