Update time!

Well, as of 14th September she has been off the road for the winter to keep away from all that evil salt and ice! Gave her a thorough clean then tucked her up in the garage under the car cover for safe keeping!

Anyway, I was back home this weekend to sort out my dads car for its MOT (which it passed ) and while I was there, I finally got round to fitting the bottom hose to the RS. I needed to do this before the winter as the coolant in the engine was so dilute it was basically water and I didnt want the block to crack or anything like that so the plan was to drain it, change the bottom hose then fill her with coolant.

Its all done now and I'm delighted with how the hose looks too, and there will be no cracked blocks now either

Was a right ball ache to do buts its all done now and set up for the winter of hibernation

have to go some to crack the block dave...thats what core plugs are for ...it pushes those out and saves the block and in a garage..youd have to go some to get water in the system to freeze...however...looks good as ever. keep up the good work

Hammerite under the front wings, ontario blue spray paint everywhere else. We decided it would be abit excessive and look abit sh*t to hammerite the whole rear wing up to the roof

Not fully, but all the areas of rust have been sanded back to shiney metal and hammerited, the only unhammerited bits are undersealed.

Need to give it a good going over at some point, but time constraints in terms of needing it from this week as a daily for my dad meant it couldnt be done. Maybe over the xmas hols
