nah i had to cut the metal under the headlining to get it to fit as the fixings and stuff on this one were alot larger, took a couple of attempts to get it the exact size for it to clip in but got there in the end! :thumbsup:

Im long overdue a trip to the breakers anyway, but a mate is a big police car nut. (he's got a fully restored special armed forces division Omega estate, that could go back into service tomorrow, it's that exact 8-) )
He's always on the look out for obscure and hard to find bits.

He keeps trying to sell me a light bar and telling me to restore mine to its former glory (trouble is, that'd be expensive and mines an ex devonshire car, and they had sh!te livery :lol: )

well went for a drive thismorning and saw a nice lil road liturally 2 mins from my house that i have never noticed, took a drive down it and thought id pull over and take some pics. my batt on my camera died after 6 pics tho :( so didnt manage to get any brillient ones

not much has changed on the car apart from the front wheels that have been re furbed again due to an idiot making me smack into a kurb :( but its all good now! also a lil 2.0 badge under the rear light :)

How the hell does it snow down south?!! its hotter than it is further up north!! damn you, I just want snow to play with the pickup in a carpark all night at work! :lolz: :chill:

ZS wheels are good.. although Ive got some Fox Evo 3's in 16" size for the pickup now, which basically look like ZS alloys :halo:

I was toying with the idea of them 17" alloys off a mondeo which are multispokes, but think that overkill for the fiesta on 60mm :doh: :shock:

paul: lol because the south is better, we get hot weather and snow :P only jokeing lol i was gunna get fox evo 3 wheels for my last fiesta but i got fox evo 5's instead but yeah i like 3's, there again i just like multispokes :D i wanted a set of mondeo 17 inch multispokes like on the st200

do it!! see i see some fiestas with 17s and think...no....that looks so stupid and then i look at some and they look really nice :? suppose it all depends on how the rest of the car looks! id be scared of doing arch work to mine and allowing the worm to have a go if i didnt treat the bare metal properly :doh:

they are nice wheels but so rare to find, i was supprised when i did one search on ebay and found them one's :lol:

cheers mate, id only tcut it if there are bad scraches on it, otherwise stay clear of tcut :) megs 3 stage thingy works wonders with my paint, you should try it. stage 1 is paint cleaner(removes swirls etc) stage 2 is polish, stage 3 is wax, brings a real deep shine to it :thumbsup:

your find that the megs paint cleaner will remove scraches as long as there not really deep :thumbsup: and wont cause swirls like tcut does :)

Right well winter is well and truely set in now and the rain and dirty roads is getting bad, so i thought it was time to give the car a full clean up, getting rid of any bit of dirt in the arches, and treating with waxoil stuff to keep them nice and clean of rust! gave the underside of the car a full clean with the jetwash(was underseald about 2 months ago) :thumbsup: gave all the door shuts a porper clean and wax and also the whole body of the car was cleaned and 2 coats of wax applyed :D also gave the engine bay a full clean up and is now free of any dirt that i can see :chill: and the inside of the car was hooverd and cleaned!

also removed the bonnet raisers as i couldnt see much difference in cooling and didnt realy like the look of them lol

thankyou! next job when i no its not gunna rain attal is to get the whole rs kit off it and clean and wax behind it all as i no they collect dirt like anything!

yeah the weather it poo atm! i was lucky that it stopped for a couple of hours! you need to keep that cossie clean :P
