Heres ny replacement panels ready for bodyshop monday. Picked them up from a Ford breakers down the road from me, goldmine of parts I didnt know were there!



Also checked the oil today, topped it up and drove it without the oil cap foe a bit. Shouldn't have bothered lol

Quick wash of the car ready for Portsdown tomorrow and because I don't want the bodyshop to think I don't look after it haha





Heres some of the defects/things that are being sorted, smoothed rear recesses, wing mirror respray and replaced rear panels rolled & flared.

Annnnnnnd it gone ive asked for the peeling rear bumpstrip to be resprayed as well, its gonna look so fresh!
The shop uses lacquer rhats £580 per 5 litres! The guy is gonna do a proper god job for me too as I know him

Also got donated some mk7 fiesta floor mats, they are brand new and look sooooo good I hate floor mats but these being ford and that hide the horrible carpet and look fresh!

all the arches are being undersealed and stonechipped as well included which saves me a job! Bargain.

He also welded me in some new inners he made up which means I should have a few rot free years

So here are my poor attempts at pictures due to only having my phone and no natural light. Will get some better ones when I can, might not be tomorrow due to raging hangover possibilities.

The work done was 2 new arches welded in, new inners made up and welded in, smoothed under rear lights, rear bumpstrip sprayed, one wing mirror resprayed, flared arches, and side strips removed.

They undersealed and stonechipped the arches, they lacquered up all of the doors as well and it all looks so fresh!!

Need to sort the ride height on the rear a bit now, probably get it a little lower with the flare now.
Need to get the front wings repsrayed as they have been done with the side mouldings on before so theres a line there, but I need the bonnet and boot doing as well so get that done soon, practically a full respray, knew I shouldn't have started chasing perfect paint!
Got me some front ultra headlights too

I would like to point out that your rear tyres are on back to front, you best change them around before you spin the car in the wet and ruin the lovely new paint
