Well the time has come.

ITS OVER.

I had a suprise in store for the RR Day, mainly to annoy the people that loved the Pickup and couldnt understand why I wanted rid.

But 2 days after the following photos were taken, on the way to work it kicked the arse end out on a roundabout for no reason and I had to ditch it.
Therefore I ripped off my new VR6 splitter. And either nackered a wishbone, track rod end or whatever. 2 hours later I decided to buy something else, which I have done.

Therefore the Pickups life has no ended.

The amount of break downs and the amount of times I have had this car to bits has gone past the point of enjoyment, its causing alot of agro as I need a daily reliable car which doesnt want to kill me or break down when ever it has a chance to do so.

Most parts are for sale, and sorry... the shell will not go into anybody's ownership, as 1) it will be a bare shell with kit and bumpers, not rolling. and 2) I cant be arsed, and Id rather weigh it in.

Its been a good laugh, specially when I first rocked up at Ford Fair 2008 with it, the interest was amazing. 2 times around Silverstone in it. 3 different engines. 3 different colours. 2 photos in magazines from FITP09.

Yeah Matt Black looked awesome on it, cant beat the Chalk Board paint and a few Rollers

Tis a shame, but we all have to move on, I just gotta think about future things

Real shame its going as it was like the showpiece for our stand at FITP and FF this year and draws so much attention, will be missed next year. You'll have to come up with something Paul that will draw in the crowd for next year

To be fair I didnt even enjoy the Pickup this year at Ford Fair, the track action was crap as it was sluggish as fook, I was hoping for that to get me to enjoy it again

hahaha yeah i had alot of agro with the pickup as you full well know jam :p ..... And no phil i refuse to keep the shell for the future as its haunted. And i refuse to let anyone else have it so it'll get stripped to bits. Doors off. Kit off. Everything. And made sure that nobody else will touch it and be tempted to use the shell by fooking it up big style lol

the chassis numbers have been destroyed. so even if anyone finds it in a scrap yard..and wants to put right the further buggeration that will happen to prevent its rebirth. getting another V5 issued would be very difficult indeed. and being honest. paul will back this up. the shell might be a pickup on top. but the underneath its wanky MK3 chique with the optional cow shit, rusty patches and holes.

Already had that idea in my head.

Would be better doing it to an Escort 5 door car. As the roof of the escort van goes up higher, and would be an arse to sort to look decent if I turned it into a pickup.
