Hmmm, I'll have a think. TBH I like the wheels on it. Although banded steels or wider steels of another model is tempting, so tempting.. but anyway..

TODAY WE HAVE PROGRESS!

In the air, bumper and lights off:


I then dropped the panel off which holds the rad in place so I could gain access to the fuel pump.
I wound DOWN the pre-boost fueling, then WOUND UP the MAX fuel screw inside the pump.
I remember doing the Scrote 90 degree's, so I did this one 110 degrees
Even on standard boost it pulls like a train, a smokey train

I then attacked the lights with FlyEyezKit, because I like it, and I want a moody look:


Went to the scrappers this morning hoping to see a white van, as I want to replace the rear doors (mine are shit, and I want rear windows)
But instead I found a GTI bumper minus the fogs, so found some blanking plates.
Added some spots.

VOILA.









As you might tell, I have used some tint spray on the rear lights. I am not happy with it, and need to scrape it off. Gonna FlyEyezKit them too.

Tomorrow shall see some boost increase, along with Boost gauge, Oil temp gauge, A pillar pods, and hopefully sprayed mirrors.

That looks great, do the gti skirts not fit on these?

think you have to make them longer an inch or two.

I think if you could get the gti skirts to fit, theyd look good black.

What about pre facelift focus skirts?

Even better (although dont think it would fit with you side exit exhaust) get them bars that run along the sills of some cans, check out the 7seater vw caddy for an example.

Lol, the focus ones are more like sill covers but would probably encourage rust anyway.

You should stick some spot lights on the roof like a truck lol.
