Maxwell Rst Fester, Was a zvh But a week or two later on his way back from working in holland the engine shat itself and blew a hole out the block



Its now currently getting treated to a rebuilt Zetec Turbo! Cant wait to see it!

A native in the club brought us out to a lake nearby.... he got us lost
But we all found it after for a spot of phtography!

Very little has happened since then unfortunatley.. with money being tight as an apprentice and my weekend work drying up Its just been what its needed for as a daily!
Fresh plates and a lower omp strut have been fitted since then thats really all!
Oh and a set of osram night breakers... had them before and really make a diiference, its whats needed when your driving to work and back in the dark

I had been planning on going to the recent track day in mondello but i decided to hold on to my money for my next plan....

Have my Tape Ecu, Digital Loom and Transponder chip for the conversion! Thanks to Ian from Pumabits in Liverpool!
Should have everything now that i need... bar Gearbox oil!
This is the wee motor anyway, Taken out last week!


Purchased a 1600 box as the puma one is fudged! Could use the 1.25 but apparently the ratios are closer... as its day to day id rather an economical 5th!
Box set me back 70 squid off a mate so cant complain!


Had to have a clean!!



Oh and today i got my Pb on the fester! 44mpg!! Cant complain at that! must be the slower driving on back roads due to the ice! and less use of brakes!

Engine was out in a few hours anyway


And the 1.25 was ready to be taken out last Friday!


Had to do something to brighten up the engine bay so picked up Some Ford Velvet Purple... Gorgeous Colour... half tempted to Paint the Rs2ks in the same colour!... Getting bored of orange!
Tapped up the Fins and left them silver as the Covers seem too bland when there all the one colour!

I couldnt believe the Difference between the sizes of both Radiator and fan! so they had to be changed!
Unfortunatley its one niggly thing i have to sort as the fan doesnt seem to kick in.. suspecting a dodgy sensor but will hopefully have it sorted before the meet!






I wanted to change the carpet over from the puma too as it seems to be thicker and gets rid of the plastic crap on the inside of the sills






Seats despertley need a clean!



Much nicer centre console!

After been driving it around with the rear seats out.... theres way too much noise in the car so will be chucking the seats back in... i miss the sub too ha

After the work over the two days it got quite messy under the bonnet


So after 20 mins using a bitta scotch, degreaser, a cloth, a power washer and some trim shine... Walah!

Found out the Puma had some decent lower arms genuine Ford which are dated in 09 so saves me buying new arms/bushes!



Gave the arms a clean and one up against the festers!


The other one had a big ass tear in it!

Will get the car tracked now as soon as possible!
Also chucked back on the phase 2s but my god the tyres are muck!
Dont buy cheap ditch finders!

Chucked in the active Sub and a mate wired up the Fan to a switch through the relay... It does draw a lot of battery life and sucks through a serious amount of air! good shtuff!

Plans are for the next 3-4 months are
Decent cat back,
Nct it
Get another cat and bash the shit out of it!
Coilovers
Respray the Rs2ks in Anthracite or white and wrap them in fresh T1rs
Rear axle spacers,
Sort out the Dreadful Paintwork
New door cards
Blue Rear Zs bench

Dyno run
Track Session in Mondello

Needed to bring this up to date!

Alternator Shat itself over the weekend... Replaced yesterday with a second hand one!
Rear axle bushes have shat themselves aswell, Only been in it since september!! Poly bushed items are now on the list!!
