Hope so, It worrying when im sat at traffic lights and it near the edge of normal, then when i drive it drops to just below 3/4.
I only noticed the fans were only blowing cold as my mate pointed out the temperature so I whacked on the heaters and it was cold :l

It does it when I drive like a granny as well.. Which is a little worrying.

I've also just found some metallic colour restorer T-cut will that get those rear arch scratches out you reckon? I don't think so, but if it might it might be worth a go when I finally get round to washing it.

common problems on the zs. my mates was overheating like hell ended up being some sensor gone crappy think the heaters blowing cold is also down to a sensor.

i reckon you should stay with multispokes on the zs get the ones you got spruced up and chuck some st170 caps on look smart as hell

The ones are got are mint Wouldn't like the paint them a dark colour though, they'll be staying for a while anyway, wheels won't be the first thing on my list, they might even be the last lol as they are such a nice set of wheels and not kurbed, just a shame everyone else sticks with them as well
i'll look into the Caps though.

what elward was saying is right about it being a common problem with mk 4/5's. it is somthing to do with a faulty heater control valve.

Just as the others gave said it sounds like a faulty heater control valve. Real easy to fix aswell mate and if I remember correctly there not too steep from ford either

Sweet, Well its going in for its service on tuesday, and it'll be there most of the day so i'll ask my friend just to fix that up as well as he gets me parts for trade prices. Hopefully be changing over all the fluis and greasing upt he locks as well. Ned to srto out a cambelt day as well. then i'll be happy

Very went out for a drive with my two friends and just cruised (at the speed limit! ) and then just sat and chatted and drove again. It's a really nice drive an I should be at southern meet for you all to see

Ive spent the evening wiring up the subwoofer so its all ready for the headunit to go in and I can have some bass again. Just ordered the bits to fit the Sony stereo. Sorted.
Just need to upgrade all the speakers after that which will be next month probably
