I gave them a good testing after I fitted them and had new front tyres fitted the other day and it didn't skid at but it stopped on a pin and feels like my face was being pulled off lol

there a bit spongey though even though we bled them through a few times lol

Maybe braided hoses would help ??

So got in the car thismorning and Theres a massive oil puddle under the car !!
Think it's the gearbox :-( not good....... A friend said to me fook it just swap everything out of my other xr2i ( 2.0 engine and gearbox)

So all I need to know quickly is should I do it or just fix the gearbox thats leaking ???

But do you think I should just 2.0 it now as changing the gearbox is an arse of a job right ??

if you've got a good working gearbox on the 2.0 and all the bits you need to do the conversion then you might as well

but i think you can just undo the gearbox cradle and support the engine via the lifting eyes and drop it slightly on the gearbox end to remove it, not really ever replaced a gearbox before, have a read of the online haynes manual in the tech forum

Feeling a bit sorry for my self about my gearbox u got offered a set of HID's from a mate
so me and dan ^^^^ fitted them today

Will get some pics of the lights in the dark tonight
also need to ditch the pi$$ coloured side lights...I'm gonna put an orange side light in to indicator lense to be differet I think

I quite like the contrast of modern headlights on a old skool'ish car

Want to get hid fogs so when I flash people the fogs flash at the same rate as the headlights
also wanna get yellow fogs for the outer lights

When I get the bumper sprayed would they need to blow in anything else ??
Like the bootlid ?? As I might get the bit of rust done I've got on the boot lid and a bit on the filler cap done that's comming threw !!

you should be able to get that resprayed for about £100. or if not get chios away the should be able to do something or someone like that.

Yer gonna get it looked at on Saturday I get paid on Friday so hopefully i'll

Also got a mate (danlarge a member on here) taking the engine out of my red xr2i

Don't know what colours to spray the engine lol

Thinking silver block with maybe a matte black rocker cover and header tank etc and them bright yellow samco's with a few shiny bits on the engine bay.
