exactly, its the best fun i have had in a car, its nippy, but the short gearing means it likes a rev shame as its 8v duratec, it only revs to 6000 rpm

Sounded impressive until you said it was a vauxall.

Won't be faster than a 1.25 Fiesta though that has a rev limit of 11k.

8v and only 6k the 106 xsi had 7.5k and felt like it needed an extra 1.5k! But in the 10 years since I'm sure they've learned how to make the torque come across in a more civilised manner.
