Just thought I'd post some pictures as I don't do it very often. Cleaned the car today as it's filthy all the time due to the roads and weather and as a few guessed, it will be for sale sometime early in the near year. Luckily these pictures don't show the dozens of dents, key marks and scratches the car has suffered park on my street since I've owned it. Enjoy.

Going price for a 6/Rallye is anywhere between 700 - 2500. You could pick up a decent one for a runaround for 6 months or so for 1200/1600 easily.

I usually get anywhere between 320/460 miles to a tank which costs about £55/£60 quid of v-power. All dependent on the heavy foot and length of the journeys. It does much better on fuel being treated like a fairy when it's cold.

Thought I'd update as I'm slightly bored and need a break from my other online "chores" Kind of barely selling this as I still enjoy it and the later I buy my new car, the more money I can save for a better one

Had a new cambelt, waterpump and auxiliary belt fitted at the weekend, with some fresh coolant obviously. Peace of mind

Also fitted my GrpN lower engine mount with a dose of fresh gearbox oil due to having to take the driveshaft out to get the cradle off. SO much cabin vibration and extra noise, feels and sounds more like a track car Love it.

A few other things replaced, but nothing major. Always looking at silly bits that are a waste of money, but I enjoy the car for what is is, and can't really justify spending £1.5k to add 4 trumpets that make silly noise (who cares for BHP when you've got some 45mm's parping!)

Cambelt/waterpump/coolant/aux belt cost £240+vat! it's the achilles heel of the gti-6 as they can go after just 30k! Luckily it's not the most expensive job.

Next car is all ready on my insurance file to switch over when I want to A few people know the variety of car it is, but could be one of a few models

Also bidding on a roll cage naughty me.
