just a small update
fitted my new locking wheels nuts yesterday and they have done the job. i no longer have sticking out centre caps

looks a lot better now. i thought i had taken pics of the 2 different locking nuts to show the difference in size but the camera obviously didnt take the picture. turned out that they were about 5-7mm bigger than the new fiesta ones. can certainly see the difference.

before (apolagee's for dirty wheels)

after

have found an si back box now courtesy of a friend, which i should be picking up tonight. just need to fit that and get it lowered :D

fitted the si back box and it lks miles better. makes no difference in sound which i new any way just did it for the lks. couldnt get tha damn thing to go all the way up the mid section were they connect. but its on and its not blowing so not to bothered at mo. apolagies for the dirty car havent washed in a few weeks

before-1.6 ghia box
Image

after-si box
Image

how far it stands out. not to bad as u cant see were it connects up to the bigger tail pipe. no biggie though
Image

ive only looked at peoples si's from the angle looking straight at the box. so if any 1 could get a pic of an si with the box from the angle the same of the above would be really good to see the difference between mine, to see how far it stands out. tks

also on the lowering front been a bloody mare.
started yesterday got all the bottom of the front strut out then found i didnt have a big enough spanner for the top strut nut in the engine bay :x . so bought 1 today got the whole thing out this time, compressed the springs and now the nut at the top will not budge at all. so got really annoyed :x , put all back together and decided im going to buy a whole set of struts and springs possibly coilovers. will get some in the new year, around spring time (fingers crossed) :P :D

unless your doin track days id go for pi springs and new standard shocks.i found them to be a very good comprimise.
as your scrubbing on inner wheel arches,is normally due to aftermarket wheels being the wrong offset.

my wheels scrub on the inner arch in full lock and my si is far from lowered!

Bought a FRST Recaro interior courtesy of a member off another forum.
Had to have it as it was a bit of a one off, as the previous owner before the bloke i got them off, put headrest's in the rear seats, along with Recaro badges.

had a bit of trouble fitting the front seats to start with as the previous owner had put 3.5 runners on already, which i needed obviously, but lost 1 of the bolts to put the runner on to the seat. the 1 that goes in under the seat belt which is just a pain to get to. so left that one till last. then when i had time to fit it i did so, then realised the same bolt had come un done on the drivers, so had to take the drivers side out again to re-fit it. in the end had to buy 2, 8mm bolts cut them down to size, and thankfully they had a spanner head so weren't to hard to fit.

i have just bought some XR2i 16v door cards as well so it all matches. pics to follow

that will be it for the interior now i should think.

Looks sweet the only thing is that you have the front seats the rong way round to me as the catch to lift the front seats up with are on the inside of the chair and not the outside.
