Went the garage today and found this again!! I've not used the car since Ford Fair.





I've had the main crank seal changed, so think its coming from the gearbox this time. I've had real problems getting into 3rd going down the box, so could be the linkage seal, and linkage may need adjustment. Am going to get it booked in next week!

On a lighter note, got a rear strut brace on its way, and might get a new servo to improve the braking.

Also found these on my PC, not great quality pictures but really like the look of rain on my car.

Well its been a while since an update.

The car went into storage in March when the tax and MOT ran out, there's nothing wrong with it just I wasn't using it.

Only 2 owners and around a genuine 60k on the clock with full service history and most of its life garaged.

It is now going to be for sale, with my new Golf arriving in a couple of weeks and the missus's car I can't really keep this in the garage any more.

I'll be talking some new pictures this weekend and putting more detail in in an official post in the for sale section.

Its going to be a sad day but I think its too good to break, I can see me using it in the near future and it would make a cracking car for somebody else.

There are a few pictures on this thread and it still looks the same as these, so if you're interested let me know.

Sad to hear she's going mate, was such a nice looking car when I last saw her! Makes sense to sell her if you arn't going to use her tho, at least someone can enjoy her!

Its now sold, and got collected this morning sold on the exact day I bought it 5 years ago strange.

I got my new Golf GT last week so the missus car can now go in the garage for the winter.
