Another update

Got quite a bit done over the past few days on the rear subframe and components

First up was to remove the studs from the rear suspension components (after cutting the rest off with the angle grinder!) Took me a whole day with a blow torch and alot of swearing!

Once removed:

Then I derusted the rear springs and painted them:

Then cleaned up and painted the rear brake pipes, Previous owner had coated them in oily grease to protect them, so they were like new underneath

Next up is to clean up the underside of the car itsself, and also still need to paint up the rear brakes, then it is the re-assembly with all new genuine parts (the fun bit! )

Another update

Got the exhaust off today then the heatshields then spent the rest of the day with white spirit cleaning up the underside. Very messy job but I'm getting there....

Still got some more left to do, then de-rust where required then paint it all up
