thats why i prefer to buy pads from a motor factor, only takes 10mins to pop back there

i know i had a bargain on these off the bay!
Wish VW would keep the same pads across the board, but no there all friggin different.

Caliper binded on today, thought is was fubard but turned it was the return spring.

Really not having luck with brakes!

yeah got the grooved discs on now, just need to wait for these pads to be replaced/refunded.
Theres still a bit of life left though.

yea i was thinking that myself, never good fitting old pads to a new disc, take it easy on the braking to try and avoid making bad scores in the discs that the pads have no doubt picked up

will ruin the discs

Ended up borrowing money for tax lol.

Power mods are a long way off, first its tyres, suspension, Whiteline ARB and front lower strutbrace.

I try to do a bit of both next for me is a good exhaust system so i should see around 120bhp then replace and upgrade rear brakes then better wheels then arbs is my plans

Im going handling and brakes first. Its got enough poke, tbh im still not bored of it, when i take it for a blast it still makes me grin!

oh yea i agree!

i can sometimes get slightly impatient waiting for the speed on a big dual carriage way, but on shorter blasts and bends im smiling (or shiting myself if im honest ha! )


this happend earlier actually as i just stepped out of much fancier cars in work eg audi A4 S-line

Nothing like a b road blast and besides a faster car is more likely gonna get you in trouble with all these daft cameras.

Although speed is nice, i was pissing my sides on the way to work this morning as iv had a volkswagon caddy to use for the weekend and ny god what a fast little bastard, not what i was expecting when i jumped in it. Everyone rushing to get to work then i come bursting past with this white van lol, the just huge lumps of power lol. Got in work and spoke to the other lads whod drove it in the past and they agreed ut was a shock lol.

Mate, loving the photos on pg 15, your mates handy with a camera, brings out the best of the little seat too
