going to look at it tday, need to get it sorted, Going to pick up a compression tester this morning , and see hwt the problem is,

karl, to do track days you normally just need a road car lisence, and most tracks now ask that you produce it before going on track. we go to as many of the big events as time and money allows, this year Ive been to Knockhill 3 times, Crail Raceway, Kames, Croft, Donnington, and Silverstone, so weve done a few miles

Thats the car all repaired again, now running back as normal, without too much hassle

replaced the V V T Pulley on th einlet cam, and retimed the car, and hey presto, shes all good again

Off to Knockhill tomorrow with the car for a track day, before the car goes into storage for 2 months, and bring the Escort Cosworth back out of storage and back to the garage to do some work to it over the winter months

so decided on a wee modification to see if the car could go that little bit quicker in a staright line, its quick enough in the corners, so bought this to graft on

Thanks guys,

not got it fitted yet, going to be busy over th echristmas period with work ( Im niteshift on xmas day , and boxing day :shock: ) so once Ive got the through the busy period at work, Ill get it fitted and wired up, ill do some pics as its going in the car

Also putting a new exhaust manifold on the car, ST170 modified to clear the crossmember and starter, so should be all finished in a couple of weeks all going well

My need to get the ECU modified again to run less ignition advance or maybe use a octane booster or proper race fuel, need to wait and see once its all fitted , and set up on the rollers

awright guys, hope yous had a nice xmas and new year

quick update, cars been given to SITECH RACING to install the NOS and set it up on the rollers, I wasnt 100% sure of the install, and after speaking to Simon, decided he should set the car up for me. So dropped it off yesterday, and should get it back in a week or so

Ill post pics up of the install when its back home

alright mate hows things you got car back yet.it should shift with the nos on it what size of jet you running.my mate has just joined the wsrsoc forum the other day big davie from hamilton he got a s2 wi 1.9 fifth injector water injection etc which we picked up the other day.you got a date set for kaimes this year yet.also what you done with your old manifold?

Thats the car back fom SITECH Racing with the system all fitted and wired in, using 60 bhp jets at the moment, as thats enough for now , as I still want the car to be reliable first and foremost

took it a test drive with the trade plates on, and you can feel a noticable difference when the NOS is switched on, so happy with it so far

Cars been taken to an exhaust specialist now dore the ST170 manifold to be modified to clear the front crossmember and starter, Ill have it back tomorrow, very easy to pay the guy only £60 to modify and mate up to exsisiting exhaust

Ricki, seen your mates jioned the West Forum mate, lovely car he has, looking forward to seeing it, especially nice with the series 1 kit fitted liking that wee mod a lot

Exhaust manifold ive taken off is sold already mate to one of the guys in the club, he will get it tomorrow when I pick the car back up

Date for Kames is almost finalised, had to change twice becuase conflicting with other events, will have it finalised with the contracts sorted this week, Ill keep you informed

Ill put pics of the mods tomorrow when i get the car back all finished
