£140 for a flexi pipe

I remember reading fast ford reviewing Pumaspeed st 190, the ford st 185 or whatever it is and another similar tuning companies package, and the Pumaspeed kit proved to be the victor, and also the cheapest.

You've got far too much money, My decat up pipe for my RB5 (similar to what you have there) set me back £20 quid "2nd" hand although had never actually been fitted.

Seriously dude these little mods will barely be noticeable, as much as you don't like the 182 clio I'd personally put the money towards a 197/corsa vxr similar both very similar to the ST except for having a bit more pace and better bang per buck mods.

mole: i know but thats both restrictions removed from the exhaust and intake now It all depends on what happens mate. I've been paying a mortgage for 3 fapping years now, i would have had an RST by now otherwise! Upgrade later maybe

mark: I was actually joking, i don't mind 182s but as i mentioned to mole its both restrictions removed now, and 3 ST's made 166bhp on the same rollers with just what i have, which is 18bhp up on the standard figure for £200 which is not bad in my book

And to much money! i wish! i dipped into my savings, and thats only becuase i get paid twice in july! Also like i said to mole, i have to think about the house. Yes a VXR or Clio 197 would be a good car, i'm not saying they aren't but i honetly didn't buy the ST as i thought it was the fastest car, i'm not an idiot, but with contributing towards mortgage and bills, the extra cost of running and insuring a Focus ST, VXR , 197, Rs Turbo (which i wanted instead of the ST but sensible-ness prevailed) is beyond me with current outgoings. The ST is sensible enough with my (soon to be 4 but hey ho) 3 years ncb the insurance on an agreed value of £11,000 is £700 (£70 monthly) and will go down with 4. Also its not to bad on fuel (now as i am getting 33-34mpg) yet it is quick enough to keep me entertained.

I only brought a new flexi pipe, as people on the STOC have had problems with used flexis and blowing etc, so i thought sod it, get a new one as a: its new and b: it has a warranty incase it fecks up

i'm not going to go nuts on the ST, i just aim to keep it for a while and make it a bit more fun

i might get the rear axle spacers to sort the back end out, as they are a whole £26 and maybe some eibachs, but no rush. The front tyres are on 4mm, so i will have to invest in them at some point, and a service in 4500 miles

Also like i said, i've had 15 cars in 4 years, would be nice to stick to one for a while

i'm not trying to preach about the ST, but gee..........

I'm surprised Adam is still around to be honest with the amount of flack he gets for the ST. Just leave him be, he's made his choice, he knows the alternatives, he's got a damn nice car, he's happy.

Dare I say after sveral debates with Adam on many issues around the ST he has converted me to his point of view. Not saying I agree and wan't an ST but I can see why he owns one and can see he isn't completely insane.

As I have always said the ST is a great car, just not as great as it could/should have been. But if you forget that fact it is still a decent car.

Just to rub it in with the holiday thing, I have been with my other half 3.5 years and we are going on our third holiday soon.
