thought it was it.remember seeing it years ago sounds like its goin to be a weapon what power did it used to run about 400bhp used to see it outside xs years ago always thought it was minted

All the blood, sweat, tears, late nights and swearing was worth it, to get the car ready for Donnington

What a circuit it is , and I forgot how good it truly is, really suited the car , with the new box, and coming down the Dunlop bridge straight , the car was on the limiter in 5th gear, and was at 7000 rpm in 5th down Crainers, fookin loved it

WOW i got a shock when i clicked on the thread there lol
my internet has been off and havent been able to keep updated on the car.

really really glad it wasnt worse top work getting her ready for the track that fast.

Its been hard work the past 3 weeks, but got there in the end

Time for a wee break from the cars for a few weeks, then get it ready to go back to Knockhill on the 11th October for a track day, see if I can get round the hairpin this time

Wow, you dont hang about! Good to see it going!

Also how did you get around VCT on the st170 head. Just killed my head on blacktop engine, drive belt got caught in cam belt and has bent valves, thinking of a st head. Any complications?

Its a Fiesta RS accessory bumper, quite rare meant to be , and Ive drilled holes all over it, and cut it to clear the wheels on full lock

Ricki, Ill catch you on Sunday, we will be at Knockhill for about 08:00 hrs , and normally all meet up at Peggy Whites Petrol station at Newhouse roundabout, around 07:00 hrs . If your wanting a run round in the car, its £25 per passenger ( ADMC Rules Im afraid) so bring money and ahelmet and Ill take you out a wee run in the car, as its open pit lane all day

came up on sunday mate but only stayed about half an hour the weather was shockin ended up goin to my mates in oakley how did it go

we had a bit of a mixed day, Johns supercharged Fiesta let a piston go, My mate Phils big power 1.9 ERST lost oil pressure, Big Davie burst a water hose on his 4x4 cossie, Thomson broke a braded flexi on his Subaru, and had a big off through the gravel trap, and my car jumped the timing or bent valves or something

It was going very well up till then, dont know whats really happened to the car, but its spitting petrol back out the trumpets , and its down on power. Ill have a look at it next week , when I can be bothered
