Oh and Ben I can't not have side strips, once I get the other ones i'm having there going straight off as I took the drivers side off yesterday and where the front end crash has been the wing has been resprayed and it's a different silver underneath the side strip!

Was bored at work yesterday so took some pics lol mainly of how low it is, needs to be levelled out slightly as pass side seems a little higher, needs to all go slightly lower and I think it'll be sitting just right.

So plans for the forseeable future are to swap my plastics for metallic grey ones and get my wheels done, probably get the wheels done professionally so they won't be done for a while depends how I am feeling.

Sooooo I finally pulled my finger out today seeing as I have some time off and i'm a little bored.

Nu-suede on a spare roof lining, smooth airbag cover I bought ages ago and my A pillars.

The pillars and cover will be fitted tommorow, the roof lining I am not sure, maybe friday I think Will be a challenge!

The overall plan is to make my interior a nice place to be seeing as its where I sit!! I will try and source a black steering wheel one day. Going to black the doorcards front and rear, and then figure out a plan of action for the dash....

The luxury continues!

Fitted my headliner, which was soooo easy I was shocked! Sprayed up my sunvisors and stuff to match, couldn't line up my "hold tight" handle so just gave up with that.

it's done now until I can be bothered to rip out and spray the doorcards, then the dash but not sure how to do that yet

I love it! Pics are a bit bright but couldn't really use normal camera mode















This is the rust hole I found.. On both sides of the car this is under the rubber seal in the door. Cause for concern or not???

Do the sunvisor look good still, didnt think they would be an item to spray and have a good finish.

Rust is abit nasty, bad or not you should sort it with your arch.

If that hole is within 30cm of seat/seatbelt mountings, suspension, steering etc then its something that could fail an MOT.

Looks like its pretty much gone through the metal sills there too?

The finish on the sunvisors is pretty much as you see it in the pictures, not brilliant but they are black and not grey! So they match well, unless your staring at them for ages then you wont notice it it'll just blend in instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.

Yeah its like right next to the seat belt point in theory as its on the left hand side of the drivers door bit as its starts to slope up. Aids. Does look pretty bad and looks like it does go through the sill so not sure how it would be repaired

I had to sell them to fund engine repairs along with lots of stuff hence why its no longer stripped. I was going to go all out but now gone back to comfort whilst I recover from the last couple months lol

I didn't make any money on them or anything.

I did fit one, they were a bit of a dodgy fit with the way the subframes lined up and that. and one bolt has to be like tearing through the seat lol

Will get some again If I go proper track style lol

I feel fine as mine is going to be patched up in three weeks and apart from my arch surface rust theres no more to speak of.. Which i'm sure is less than I can say for yours!

Had some starting troubles with it, had to leave it at work for a night went back stamped on the loud pedal and cranked it til it eventually started after a lot of struggle.

Changed the fuel filter and it seems a little better now, it starts up at the turn of a key with no loud pedal help but it still sounds like i've just cammed it for about 20 seconds.

Will stick a tank a fuel and some Redex in it to try and clean the system out if not start trying things like coilpacks etc.
