Heres the video of the accident, I should have just tried to get the car to go in straight into the gravel trap, but if you look , youll see the cars gone sideways underbreaking , which Ive corrcted a couple of times , before its clipped the kerb and sent the car sideways

To be fair mate when you went into the gravel you wanted to try and get back in line for the track and as a result your car got side on into the gravel and the car rolled, i did the exact same thing on my track day and my car rolled too

Should of just left it to go straight in like you say you should of done ohwell only natural reaction i had no talent from the start

At least you've still got a recuable fiesta to take away mine was going to scrap end of

well made some good progress today.

Found a Fiesta in the scrapyard , which had a non sunroof roof on the car, so it was duly chopped off



Decided that the damage to the roof skin was too severe to repair, and it had damaged the strenthining panel aswell, so off with the old



And on with the new roof, and window all fitted now, door gaps now perfect, and everything where it should be



New wing and door to be fitted tomorrow, and ready for paint Sunday all going well

Cars getting painted tomorrow, all going well

I decided to change the wing and the door,as the wing had way too much damage to it, and im aswell replacing the door too if Im going that far. Im not replacing the bonnet at the moment as its not that bad really, and Ill wait till I get a Fiesta RST bonnet to replace it with

Ive had a lot of help from my mate Gibby who runs the body shop , and his boss whos been brilliant , letting me have a free run of the shop, Ive done most of the work to the car, with some help from my mate Stu, top lads

Hopefully tomorrow nite, Ill post pics of the car painted, and it will be at Donnington for the RSOC National Day on the 13th September
