Nah swapped the purple wheels for these plus £30 my way + the guy came and collected.

Sold the MHWs for £30 more than I paid plus standards to get some cash back so I could help with the engine swap costs. Plus I got pulled over the other night because half the lights weren't working or glowing the wrong colours as the red filter burned off, too much hassle although they did finish it off but meh I cba anymore lol can't have £100 sat in lights on the rear of my car its just not me im a cheapo.

Just needs a clean really, really want the wing mirrors off, might change the spoiler back not sure yet, doesn't go with the rear lights. needs raising on the rear Really scrubs bad lol its stupid.

Nah, its because the wheels sit inside the arches - same with all mk3's. When I space the wheels out I'll need to roll the arches... Thats easy, all you need is a rubber mallet. I've done it before

yeah i used a rubber mallet, didnt heat the paint first though so split all around, started to rust (only surface) hence the topic of conversation on the hammerite the other night lol!

Nope! had it going cheap from a bodyshop guy on ZSOC but he didn't reply So I probably wont do most of the bodywork I wanted to now just the rear arch sometime

So I had the day to myself and decided to clean it, Took off the wing mirror vinyl, changed the grill surround to silver and put on the puma engine cover.

As I went to take pictures I took on of the engine and the battery died so i'll take some at matchams tonight. But I have fallen in love with the outside again! Looks great! But still need niggles sorted so I can enjoy the drive to it fullest, maybe then i'll stop ebaying blue things with 182bhp and thinking about getting on over the next year

Should have in heinseight but I do miss the old lumpy idle!

Having bottom end torque is kinda a nice thing, and slowing down without the revs dipping and nearly cutting out But top end power is a little disapointing as it runs out of puff whereas i'm used to having power all the way to the limiter and beyond

But it pops lots and certainly does the job!
