still thinking of this xr2 tbf, did you have throttle bodies on it or not? because the xr2i engine was my preference as its pretty much a straight swap in terms of engine mounts etc... or is that the same for the xr2 as well?

just found a guide to fitting the xr2 into an mk3... fuel pump is diff, and a few others, drive shafts and engine mount but seems a laugh!

ben dont be a gay and use the carb, the engines are the same, just find a xr2i inlet and injector set up and bolt it on, will run off your loom and fuel pump fine

does the head miss the ports for the injectors?

only thing i can see stopping you bolting a EFI inlet to it

as topic title said just a quick update on phils green missile ... he now has my HUGE group 'a' cossie airfilter attached to his T2 turbo cut his hose and custom fitted the filter on it and made it fit ! we then realised it was like 2mm from the cambelt so raided my rst for the cambelt cover and all is sweeeeet and it sounds EPIC also we custom fitted my escort oil separator tank to fit his fiesta. lets just say it was tighter than a tight nuns noonie to get it to fit pics to come soon
