Yes picture was taken just as the car rolled onto its roof, slid along on its side for a bit , I think, bit confusing the accient

One of the guys from the group has it on video, sliding on the oil and then crashing, once I get it , Ill post it on here for yous to see

At the hairpin , coming down from the back staight, braking from 5th gear and it all locked up

There had been a bad oil spill at the hairpin after a 106 gti had blown up, theyd spent an hour cleaning it, before letting us out on track, I had 6/7 very quick laps with no issues , an then suddenly I had no grip , and crashed the car

Yes its getting there,

So after its off, its gonna need repaired, damage to bonnet, roof, wing , n/s door and n/s quarter

Herse the pics of it progress, Im just going to push the panels out as best I can for the RS Owners club National Day at Donnington, and do as full respray during its winter hibernation

Here some pics of the progress made today, Got the engine running too, as I was worried it would be damaged by either gravel or oil in the combustion chamber, but its checked out all OK, Thank fook









Its going to my mates body shop to get the roof pushed back up and winscreen fitted tomorrow, and some of the other dents panel beated out a little better than I did today, but Ive got the passenger door opening and closing now and wing almost back to shape again

Gave it a good clean, and took about 1/4 ton of gravel out of every nook and cranny

I would say u come off rather well it looks so bad in the fotos. I was gonna ask you about your friends grey fiesta. Is it turbo'd if so what engine and also where did he get his decals from as i am building a grey xr2i track car. cheers rob

mate its not turbo'd. He is a real man and its an na 2.0ltr st170 with bodies. Lol
