Yeah there was the passenger one fell through and sits itself back constantly, not the look i'm going for :)

Stripped out, 4 point purple harnesses, bucket seats. Sorted.

I've already got a buyer for the seats mate, She's re-agnmodnsgks ing them, as in taking the fabric off and changing it? can't remember what its called!

So if it will get fixed because shes re ajkgdfgkjsd ing them then you can have them

Got a bit of a peak at your seats at sixfields, will look good.

Unlucky about the loom, youll get there in the end and hopefully no new major parts or full engines needed again lol.

You know the lower strut brace, do you ever catch it on anything as in clearance issues? Thinkin about getting one for my focus, i know there different cars but they look like they sit similar.

So I changed the loom this morning and it doesn't work

Everything lights up on the dash, all the lights work, but I think the fuel doesn't prime and the engine doesn't do anything.

Not sure where i've gone wrong everythings connected, i've had to crimp some earth wires by the ECU together but that should be fine? As thats how they were on my old loom. I've checked the fuel cut off switch and thats fine and i've definately attached everything as I did it a section at a time and everythings plugged in.

Just gets worse, worked fine with my old loom

Yeah i've checked them all and they all look fine? None of them have split in the middle bit, is there anything else I need to check?

I've checked all the fuses inside the car as well.

I don't know how to check the little boxes (Relays?) To see if there broken.

I would assume its a fuse but err. It's a new fusebox now and I've only swapped a couple bits onto it

umm think the fuel relay is the orange tall relay, anyway get someone to flick ignition on and off (back to off completely)

and you stand listening with your ear next to the relays and listen for a tick, once on and once off, if its ticking your pump should be priming

Yeah I know how to listen for the fuel pump priming I Just have had the fans on and haven't thought about listening for it properly.

Hmmm.

So confused :( I don't really know anyone with electrics either only the guy who fitted my loom before and he's no expert, plus I don't like asking him to come help as he works 9-5.

Check everything is definitely plugged into the right place. When I did the entire loom on my Celica it wouldn't start, all the lights, heaters and everything worked and I found out that two of the plugs on the loom were exactly the same and I had mixed them up which stopped it from starting!

So I did fine with the loom fitting, the ECU was fried.

Put a new ECU in, fired it up, 2 seconds of running, small dink, turned straight off. My first though "crank bolt.." AS A JOKE.

Was the crank bolt. Epic. Timings out, engine condition now unknown.

I'm getting it recovered tommorow to my mates garage and it can come back fixed, I can't wait for the bill :(

Just can't tighten it :( Needs 60nm? And 90degrees. Needs a gun really, was as tight as it could be and thats what we did last time and it lasted 6 months! I had it out on track and everything  so was rather hoping it would last to the trip up to the garage..

Got plans now, see if its got bent valves, if not sweet. got an ECU on the way, if the valves are bent a certain member of this forum is going to help me out as i'm losing patience now and running out of money I want to spend on it.
